Geoff Argent: Back in 1974 Geoff started his construction career and in 1978 achieved his City & Guilds Brickwork qualification having served a four year apprenticeship with a local firm. Geoff is now proud to be working alongside his sons as part of Swift Building Company Ltd.

Ben and Daniel Argent: Originally bricklayers by trade, qualified (CITB) to NVQ levels 2 and 3 in Brickwork attaining specialised units such as complex brick and block work and co-ordinating and producing complex construction aids.

CITB are the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction

industry, working with industry, for industry to deliver a safe, professional and fully

qualified UK construction workforce. Working with construction companies to help

them improve skills, increase their competitive edge and respond to the many

challenges employers face – from the low carbon agenda, through to reducing costs

on-site and recruiting the best and brightest talent for their sector.
